Shakas Rock

Chaka’s Rock, or Shaka’s Rock as it is also known as, is a small coastal village just a 5 minute drive north of Ballito. The village is mainly residential in nature with a wide range of accommodation to choose from. Many of the holiday venues sport stunning views of the ocean, with a number of places having direct access to the beach.

The main beach at Shaka’s Rock is also a ski-boat launch site, which always adds a bit of entertainment value to the people relaxing on the beach. The beach has some lovely tidal pools to explore and swim in, and it is also a popular location for the rock & surf fisherman.

This coastal resort village is the ideal holiday venue for a family. There are not many entertainment option available in Shaka’s Rock itself, but the restaurants, shops and pubs in Ballito are just a short drive away.
